Mavic Open Sport Rim

As Mavic says, "a robust and affordable rim." We'll actually expand on that....the Open Sport is the evolution of Mavic's legendary box MA2 that morfed into the "Open" shape. It's a double wall single eyelet shape with a 16mm hieght, 9.5 of which is machined braking surface with wear indicator and Mavic's patented "UB Control." The rim is 20.2mm wide from side to side and comes in silver or black in 32 or 36 hole drillings weighing in at 490 grams.

All of our wheels are built by hand by our in-house mechanics, all of whom have years of experience and hundreds of wheels under their belts. We build an average of 8-10 pairs of custom wheels each week for track, fixed gear and road use. We know what it takes to build a good, solid wheelset for any type of use!

Take a look at or custom track wheel builder and roll away on a dream.... The prices quoted are for a single wheel. All prices and hubs are for 120mm (track standard) rear wheel spacing. If you would like 110, 126, 135, or any other spacing, give us a call and we'll help you find the right hubs.

Velocity Deep V Rim

Messenger and velodrome proven to be as strong as they come. Plus it's the only rim that comes in a whole heck of a lot of colors! Deep cross-section for strength, aerodynamics, and reliability with machined sidewalls available for improved braking performance. This is a great commuting, touring, road racing or triathlon rim! 700C Colors: Black, Bright Gold, Bright Silver, Bubble Gum Pink, Chocolate Brown, Electric Blue, Teal, Frost Blue Electric Red, Popsicle Purple, Yellow, Lime Green, Antifreeze Green, Bronze, Olive Mist, Gun Metal Blue, Tangerine Orange, Ti Grey, White. Velocity Chukker Rim

Our Price: $69.95

The Chucker Rim from Velocity is one of the strongest and most durable rims on the market. If you destroy wheels or just want something that will never give you trouble the Chucker is for you. It is designed to hold up to just about anything. Tandem, touring, commuting, bike Polo, or trick riding the Chucker can take it all. 24mm wide and 32mm tall. 538g in 700c version. Available in 700c with 32, 36, and 48 hole drillings, and 26" with 36 and 48 hole drillings. Current colors are Black, Bright Silver, Bronze, and Olive Mist but please note that not all colors are available in all sizes, drillings, or sidewall configurations. Most notably, the 48 hole machined rims are currently only available in black.

Velocity A23

Our Price: $69.95

Velocity's A23 is the answer to the problem you did not know you had. The A23 is essentially a wider Aerohead rim. The idea behind a 23mm wide rim is that when paired with a 23c tire, the internal width of the rim clinches the tire beads just right so that the tire profile is very close to that of a tubular rim. So you get less rolling resistance, better cornering, and a better ride (you can run your tires at a lower pressure).

We stock 32 hole non machined Velocity deep Vs in Black, White, Gold, Silver, Lime Green, Antifreeze Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Brown, Pink, Spangled, and Blue. All other Velocity rims are special order and are usually available in about a week.

All wheels are hand built to order. Most wheel orders will ship in 5 to 7 business days.

Mavic Open Pro Rim

Our Price: $74.95

A step up form the Open Sport is the industry standard Open Pro, a rim to which all others are measured. This is what we build our own wheels with. Light, stiff, and strong it's hard to find any faults with this rim. It's a double wall, double eyelet rim with a 18.4mm hieght,19.6mm width and 10.3mm of braking surface.
