Mavic Ellipse Track Wheelset

A great track wheel offering exceptional qualities at an attractive price. Stiff, rigid and with a 30mm profile and ultra flat spokes quite aero. Constructed with Mavic expertise, these are the ideal wheels for competition or training. Double fixed rear hub. Comes with one Mavic lockring. Compatible with Mavic lockrings only. Take the stickers off and you have a kick ass all black wheelset.

Alex / Formula Track Wheelset

Our Price: $199.95

A good quality but inexpensive track wheelset from Alex. Nice quality, nice looking, and nicely priced. The wheels have formula cartridge bearing high flange track hubs. Both are fixed / free in the rear. The rims are semi aero Alex R450 with a brushed braking surface. So if you do run a brake they will work well.

If your rent is expensive and you are getting nagged about all the money you spend on bike parts this is the wheelset for you.

H + Son Formation Face Rim

Unlike most rims out there, the H + Son Formation Face rim has a true V shaped wall and absolutely no provisions for running a brake. The side of the rim has a completely even surface. It looks like a wall. Oh, and it's 42mm deep. Deep V's are a comparatively diminutive 30mm. Lastly, they're substantially lighter than their Velocity counterpart.

Velocity Deep V Fancy Finish Rim

Messenger and velodrome proven, the Velocity Deep Vs are strong as they come. Now in lots of new finishes! Velocity is using a new image transfer powder coat technique which is powder coated on. The designs are not decals. Deep V cross-section for strength, aerodynamics, and reliability. 700c Colors: Teak Wood, Burl Wood, Floral, Skulls, Snow Camo, Digi Camo, White Dots, Black Dots, Splatter, Flames, Argyle, Ska (checkered), Card Suits, and ELVS (reflective black). 700c Drilling: 32H. Velocity has discontinued these rims. Floral finish and ELVS are the only available styles.

Mavic CXP33 Rim

Our Price: $94.95

The Mavic CXP33 is the best aero rim on the market in our opinion. It features a tall narrow profile, but still uses eyelets. So you get a rim that is light, stiff, aerodynamic, and very durable. The CXP 33 is welded and then machined with Mavic's patented "UB Control" braking surface. The rim is 19.4mm wide, 23.6mm tall, and comes in silver in 32 or 36 hole, black in 28, 32, or 36 hole, or black 650c in 28 and 32 hole. 700c weighs in at 470 grams.

H + Son EERO Rim

Some of you people out there wanted something even bigger and stronger in a rim. In response H Plus Son has come out with the EERO. It is taller 43.3mm and wider 22mm than the H + Son Formation Face rim. It can accommodate wider tires and withstand much more abuse. The rim has a third wall in the center to help strengthen and stiffen it, and H Plus Son welds the joint to make it as strong as possible.

Velocity B43 Rim

Say hello to the deeper V! The Velocity B43 is the newest addition to the Velocity family of rims. The near indestructible triple wall construction will keep you rolling day in and day out and the 43mm deep profile will keep you looking good at the same time. There is no provision for running a brake on these rims. Current availability is very limited though eventually Velocities full color range will be available in multiple drillings. Mavic Open Pro Rim

A step up form the Open Sport is the industry standard Open Pro, a rim to which all others are measured. This is what we build our own wheels with. Light, stiff, and strong it's hard to find any faults with this rim. It's a double wall, double eyelet rim with a 18.4mm hieght,19.6mm width and 10.3mm of braking surface.

All of our wheels are built in house by mechanics with years of experience and hundreds of wheels under their belts. We build an average of 3-4 pairs of custom wheels each week for track, fixed gear and road use. We know what it takes to build a good, solid wheelset for any type of use!

Step up your level of hip with a new coaster brake setup. You can bring back those memories of 'pedal brake' skidding through your neighborhood.... The prices quoted are for a wheelset. Give us a call if you'd like a single wheel and we can get a quote together for you. All prices and hubs are for 110mm rear wheel spacing. If you would like 120, 126, 135, or any other spacing, give us a call and we'll help you find the right hubs.

We stock 32 hole non machined Velocity deep Vs in Black, White, Gold, Silver, Lime Green, Antifreeze Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Brown, Pink, Spangled, and Blue. All other Velocity rims are special order and are usually available in about a week.

All wheels are hand built to order. Most wheel orders will ship in 5 to 7 business days.
