The Lumotec Oval Plus is a great see and be seen light for urban riding.  Not as bright as the Busch Muller Lumotec IQ Cyo Plus, but this light is well suited for slower speeds.  The DLumotec Oval offers a wider more diffused light beam.  It perfect for lighting the road immediately in front of you, and allowing you to still see street signs and other things away from the pavement easily.

Light is provided by a high power LED so no bulb replacement should ever be needed.  The LED should last many thousands of hours.  The LED will come to full power at slower speeds (<5mph) and be brighter than a halogen.  

We stock the Plus version and the Senso Plus.  The Plus has Busch and Muller's "Standlight" feature.  Standlight is a condenser that is charged while riding so that when the bike comes to stop the light will stay on for several minutes.  Standlight uses no batteries and requires no maintenance.  The Senso Plus version adds a light detecting sensor that will turn the light on automatically when it is dark.
